Field Trip #1 to Meadow Creek Kokanee Spawning Channel
A visit to watch the little red fish spawn. A good half million of them. There were biologists on hand to explain the process and give some actual visuals.
What great pictures! You went at a good time when there were lots of fish. Sometimes if you go too late, there isn't enough. Did you also go to the presentation at the visitor centre? There guides there put on a great show of the different stages of the lifecycle. It looks like a great time - an a beautiful day for a field trip!
